All the places have been snapped-up for the British Milers’ Club National Endurance Symposium, supported by UK Athletics, at Stratford-upon-Avon High School on Sunday 29 October.

Well over 100 coaches will receive a range of world-class advice from, among others, Margo Jennings, who coached Maria Mutola to multiple medals in Olympic Games and World Championships and also supported Dame Kelly Holmes’ build-up to the sensational climax to her career, when she won the Olympics 800m and 1500m double in Athens in 2004.

There will also be coaching clinics with UKA Event Coaches Bud Baldaro (marathon) and Spencer Duval (steeplechase) plus Loughborough-based John Nuttall and St Mary’s-based Mark Rowland along with BMC President Frank Horwill, Loughborough University Director of Athletics George Gandy, BMC Coaching Sub-Committee Chairman David Lowes and the vastly experienced Neville Taylor, who has mentored many of the current generation of coaches as well as guided athletes to success himself.

Dave Sunderland will introduce the contributors and the closing address will be from Zara Hyde Peters, UK Athletics’ Director of Athlete Development.
