Welcome to the first day of our Festive Christmas giveaway competition!

With the New Year just weeks away the race for tickets to our Major Events is hotting up with Sheffield a near sell-out and Glasgow and Birmingham following suit. Yet our Christmas competition will give away a pair of VIP tickets for a winner and one other to enjoy the event of their choice in luxury!

The events are:

Aviva International Match, Kelvin Hall, Glasgow - Saturday 31 January

Aviva European Trials and UK Championships, EIS, Sheffield - Sat-Sun 14-15 February

Aviva Indoor Grand Prix, NIA, Birmingham - Saturday 21 February

UK Athletics will provide travel, accommodation and also some of the best seats in the house for you to enjoy some fantastic athletics. And once the action is over you can go behind the scenes and meet some of the big names who have competed whilst enjoying our VIP hospitality.

As well as the VIP prize, ten lucky runners up will also receive a pair of tickets to an event of their choice!

And the best part is – you can enter as many times as you wish over the Christmas and New Year period. Each and every day from Monday 8 December until Tuesday 23 December, www.ukathletics.net  will be asking a different question on athletics action in 2008.

If you know the answer, simply follow the link provided at the end of each article and submit your entry.  If not – don’t despair because there will be another chance the very next day!

Question 1 – Monday 8th December 2008

How many different nations won athletics medals at the Beijing Paralympics in September?

If you know the answer to question 1 – just follow this link and fill out the entry form, and be sure to check back again tomorrow for the next question!
