Vaxjo, Sweden, February 9

16 year old Morgan Lake (Eldon Lake) confirmed her immense talent as she achieved a World Indoor pentathlon youth record of 4284 points while guesting in Sweden's U18 championships. The previous record was 4261 held by former Olympic and world champion Carolina Kluft. Her series consisted of a 8.97 60m hurdles, 1.85m high jump, 13.38 shot, 5.87m the long jump and 2:24.48 for the 800m. It was also of course a British record and the 800m and shot were outright PBs, indoors and out.
