Aviva Series Mo Farah

03 March 2011

The European Indoor Championships are taking place in Paris this weekend, and a strong Aviva GB&NI team have crossed the channel in search of medals. However, it’s not just our athletes who will be hoping for success, as we are offering you an exclusive ticket offer based on how many medals our team brings home.

With each medal won by a British athlete, we’ll be knocking 5% off the price of tickets for the Aviva UK Trials and Championships which will be held at the Birmingham Alexander Stadium this July. So, if our athletes win five medals in Paris, tickets will be available with a 25% discount for a limited time. If we win ten medals, tickets will be half price.

Many of the Aviva GB&NI team have put in record-breaking performances already this year and hopes are high of a good medal return this weekend. Mo Farah, Britain’s double European outdoor champion, will be hoping he can replicate the form he showed at the Aviva Grand Prix last month where he captured the European indoor record for 5000m in a time of 13:10.60. Team captain Helen Clitheroe will also be hoping for more success after knocking an incredible 11 seconds off her lifetime best in the 3000m at the same event, crossing the line in 8:39.81. And finally, new kid on the block Jodie Williams, making her senior debut in Paris at just 17 years of age, is looking to mark her arrival on the international scene with a European medal to go alongside her national 60m title which she collected at the Aviva Indoor UK Trials and Championships in February.

Make sure you cheer our athletes on as the more medals they win, the less you pay. To take advantage of this fantastic offer, sign up to UKA newsletters E-Inspire and Trackside.
