The 2019 international Championships, and their trials, are as follows:


European Mountain Running Championships (uphill) - 7 July 2019, Zermatt, Switzerland

Trials: 2 June 2019, Skiddaw, Keswick  


World Mountain Running Championships (up and down) -  15 November 2019, Villa La Angostura, Argentina

Trials: 21 September 2019, Betws-y-Coed, Wales   


World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships -  16 November 2019, Villa La Angostura, Argentina

Trials: 14 July 2019, Snowdonia Trail Marathon, Wales

The 2019 British Athletics Mountain Running Challenge

The 2019 Mountain Running Challenge will consist of the following races: 


11 May 2019 - Inter-Counties Championship (Todmorden)

2 June 2019 - Trial for the European Mountain Running Championship (uphill only) (Skiddaw, Keswick)
 
21 September 2019 - The British Athletics Mountain Running Championships incorporating the Senior Home Countries International & trial for the World Mountain Running Championship (up & down) (Betwys-y-Coed)

The 2019 Inter Counties Championships

The senior event was held on Saturday 11th May 2019 in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. See the results below.

The Junior Inter-Counties Championship will be held as part of the Clougha Pike race on 22nd June 2019.

2019 British Fell Running Championships 

The four races for the 2019 British Fell Running Championships are as follows:

Short: 3 August – Creag Dhubh, Scotland

Medium: 27 April – The Mourne Highline, Northern Ireland (resultsand 25 May – Ras Y Moelwyn, Wales

Long: 15 June – Great Lakes Race, England 


The process for British Championship race entries has been amended in 2019 to allow those in contention for individual championship medals to be guaranteed an entry. Individuals included on this list must still submit their entry by the closing date. See the excel sheet titled 'Guaranteed Entries' in the attachments below. 


2019 British Athletics Fell & Hill Relay 


The 2019 British Athletics Fell and Hill Relay will be organised by Dark Peak Fell Runners, and will be held in the Peak District on 19 October 2019. More information on the event can be found shortly.
